ABOUT
A thoughtful approach to work, careers, and the people behind them.
Meet Golda Inquito
Founder & CEO, The Talent Treehouse
My career has spanned Fortune 500 companies, mid-sized organizations, growing businesses and startups.
Across those environments, I have advised senior leaders, C-suite executives and owners; built talent acquisition functions from the ground up; created teams, systems and assessment frameworks; led executive and enterprise hiring; and helped organizations strengthen how they attract, evaluate and select people.
I have also worked with professionals from early career through executive leadership, helping people recognize the value in experiences they may have overlooked, navigate uncertainty and make thoughtful decisions about what comes next.
That breadth of experience allows me to understand how organizations make decisions about people and how individuals can better understand and navigate those decisions.
Looking Beneath the Obvious Problem
High-stakes career and talent decisions are rarely straightforward because what first appears to be the issue is often not the whole story.
An organization may believe it has a search problem when the more consequential issue lies in the role itself, the market, the way candidates are being assessed, the quality of the decision-making or the broader talent strategy.
An individual may come in focused on a job search, an offer or a career change when the more important questions are how they are evaluating their options, what they may be overlooking about their own experience, which tradeoffs matter and what they want the next decision to make possible.
This is where judgment matters most.
I am most valuable when the stakes are high and the answer is not obvious. I help clients look beneath the presenting problem, challenge assumptions, separate meaningful information from noise and keep the decision focused on what will actually shape the outcome.
The goal is not to make decisions for people. It is to help them see more clearly and make better decisions for themselves, their careers or their organizations.
The Human Side Matters
Context, motivation, incentives and constraints shape how people perform, which choices are realistic and what happens after a decision is made. Taking those factors seriously creates more room for decisions that work well for the business and for the people involved.
People do not need to be rescued or fixed. They need honest information, thoughtful strategy and someone who respects both their ambition and their humanity.
Work matters. Compensation matters. Ambition matters. But careers happen within lives, and people are more than the jobs they hold.
Work and talent decisions shape lives, families, teams and organizations. The Talent Treehouse brings the experience, judgment and humanity those decisions deserve.
About The Talent Treehouse
The Talent Treehouse is a California-based career strategy and talent advisory firm helping individuals build intentional careers and organizations make better talent decisions.
We work with individuals navigating pivotal career moments and with organizations facing important questions about hiring, talent and the future of work. We also take on select executive search engagements.
Why I Founded The Talent Treehouse
I grew up in an immigrant family in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles, where work was never just a job. It meant security, dignity, health insurance, survival and possibility.
I watched my father endure repeated layoffs from defense-industry jobs and carry that strain home. I watched my mother work double shifts, exhausted and worried about our family’s future. At 16, I helped my father search for jobs, typed his résumé and went to the post office to mail his applications.
Long before I understood talent strategy, I understood that what happens at work does not stay at work.
That lesson remained with me throughout more than 25 years in talent and hiring. Behind every résumé was a person trying to build a life. Behind every talent decision was a family, a future and an impact extending far beyond the workplace.
I founded The Talent Treehouse to bring together the expertise I developed over my career with the care I have carried since those early experiences. It is built on the belief that exceptional talent exists everywhere, even when opportunity does not, and that important career and talent decisions deserve both sound judgment and genuine humanity.
We think deeply about work, talent, and the decisions that shape both.
